Decodale Crafts Raises Funding at ₹10 Crore Post-Money Valuation to Scale India Festive and Craft Supply Operations

Investment by Mr. Alokk Mukim to fund sourcing expansion, product development and supply-chain build-out for the Kolkata-based company.

Decodale Crafts operating through Kolkata Beads Centre, has raised a funding round at a post-money valuation of ₹10 crore. The investment was made by Mr. Alokk Mukim. The company is led by Piyush Khandelia (Founder) and Shresth Jha (Strategic Partner).

The company operates in India’s festive, wedding, decorative and craft supply segment, offering more than 3,000 products to B2B buyers, wholesalers, resellers and retailers. Its categories span festivals including Diwali, Rakhi, Dussehra, Christmas, Eid, Sankranti, Pongal, Navratri, Onam and Baisakhi, along with weddings, home décor, gifting and craft supplies.

India’s wedding services market is estimated at USD 130 billion, expanding at a 14%+ CAGR through 2030. The country’s gifting market stands at USD 75 billion and the home décor segment at USD 25 billion. Arts and craft supplies imports into India have grown at a CAGR of 6.16% from 2020 to 2024.

Proceeds from the funding round will be used to strengthen sourcing capability, accelerate product development cycles, and build supply-chain infrastructure to support national scale.

This funding marks an important step forward in our journey. We have built this business with strong focus on sourcing strength, product relevance and customer demand. With this investment, we are looking to scale sourcing, strengthen product development, and build stronger supply-chain capabilities for long-term growth.”

Piyush Khandelia, Founder, Decodale Crafts

Decodale is not in the business of burning capital to chase topline numbers. Piyush and Shresth are building this steadily, with sourcing depth and operational discipline. India’s celebration economy is large and growing — and Decodale has the foundations to become a significant organised player in it.”

Mr. Alokk Mukim, Investor

“Our focus has always been on building a business that performs across every season and every category — not just peak periods. With this investment, we are strengthening our sourcing depth, expanding product development, and creating a supply-chain infrastructure that can reliably serve our customers at national scale.”
Shresth Jha, Strategic Partner, Decodale Crafts
