In the evolving landscape of Indian fashion photography, Bangalore-based photographer Dheeraj Cukke is steadily emerging as a distinctive creative force known for his refined runway imagery and editorial storytelling. Originally from Mysore, Karnataka, Dheeraj has built a reputation through his disciplined visual approach, cinematic compositions, and ability to transform fashion into impactful narratives.
His portfolio includes major fashion platforms such as Bangalore Fashion Week, Bangalore Times Fashion Week, Mysore Times Fashion Week, Heritage Runway Show, and several designer showcases across South India. Known for capturing movement, garment detailing, stage energy, and expressions with editorial precision, Dheeraj’s photography reflects a modern luxury aesthetic inspired by international fashion campaigns.
Expanding beyond runway photography, he has also worked on fashion editorials, couture projects, commercial campaigns, and celebrity features. One of his recent productions, A Vision of Timeless Fashion, featuring South Indian model Sahana, highlighted elegance and premium visual storytelling through carefully curated imagery centered around a richly embroidered couture saree.
The creative concept for the editorial was developed by Akashay Rao, while styling ideas were executed by Chaitrashree, bringing together traditional craftsmanship with contemporary fashion sensibilities. The luxurious saree, featuring royal blue, emerald, silver, and violet tones with intricate embellishments and mirror detailing, became the visual centerpiece of the shoot.
Captured by Dheeraj.cukke against a soft neutral backdrop, the images focused on fabric texture, graceful draping, and refined lighting techniques that enhanced the richness of the garment. The post-production process maintained natural skin texture while elevating embroidery sharpness, jewelry reflections, and overall depth through premium editorial retouching and balanced color grading.
The project further included editorial finishing by Click Basya (Bhaskar), cinematic videography by Rahul CR, makeup artistry by Shruthagowda, hairstyling by Shalini Mahadev, and digital creative support by Chaithyana Sudhakar, who also manages the brand’s growing Instagram presence.
With international publication exposure across India, Paris, New York, France, and Denmark, Dheeraj Cukke continues to establish himself among the promising names shaping contemporary Indian fashion photography.
