From Family to Founders: The Women Behind Blush & Muse

What began as one woman’s personal vision gradually evolved into a shared journey — with family becoming part of building a growing beauty ecosystem rooted in confidence, artistry, and community.

Behind Blush & Muse — the women-led beauty collective known for its work across pageants, artist communities, and confidence-led beauty experiences — is a story shaped not only by entrepreneurship, but by family, belief, and shared growth.

Azia Sabharwal first began building the vision behind Blush & Muse through her own deeply personal journey with makeup, confidence, and identity.

What started as a quiet process of rediscovering herself through artistry slowly began evolving into something much larger — a beauty ecosystem centred around empowerment, creativity, and opportunity for women.

As the idea behind Blush & Muse gradually took shape, Pragya Singh remained closely involved behind the scenes — supporting Azia through the early stages of building the vision.

Watching her sister-in-law reconnect with herself through artistry and slowly shape something meaningful deeply inspired Pragya.

Over time, that support evolved into curiosity, passion, and eventually a journey of her own.

Pragya later went on to pursue professional makeup certification herself, before officially joining Azia in helping build Blush & Muse together.

What began as family support gradually evolved into a creative partnership — with both women bringing different strengths into the growing ecosystem.

Today, the two women work closely together across the growing Blush & Muse ecosystem — which includes makeup artistry services spanning Personal Glam, The Bridal Circle, and Pageant Artistry, alongside artist mentorship and community-led initiatives including BlushX Club.

Together, the duo gradually scaled the artistry side of Blush & Muse while simultaneously expanding the brand’s artist and backstage ecosystem.

From personalised glam sessions and bridal beauty experiences to large-scale backstage pageant executions, both founders played an active role in shaping how the brand would operate — balancing creativity, coordination, and professionalism across every vertical.

As the brand continued growing, Pragya became deeply involved in strengthening the day-to-day execution behind the vision — working closely across artist coordination, backstage management, operations, and team-building while helping support the growing artist ecosystem around the brand.

While Azia leads the emotional and creative direction behind Blush & Muse, Pragya Singh has become an integral part of helping structure and scale the operational side of the ecosystem.
